Case Study: Redder Asia has been acquired by Dentsu Aegis

We are  delighted to announce that we have advised Redder, one of the leading and the most award-winning local agency in Vietnam, on its acquisition by Dentsu Aegis Network. This is our first transaction in the high growth communications sector in Vietnam.

Founded in 2012, Redder is a leading integrated Creative, Digital and PR agency in Vietnam, currently the fastest growing market in South East Asia. With an impressive list of clients including Pepsico, Bitis and Orion, Redder has been able to achieve this leadership position by delivering cutting edge campaigns for international and local companies based on strong strategic direction and execution excellence both on and offline.

The founders decided that the timing was right to seek a strategic partner to accelerate growth and financial performance. We were appointed to review the company’s strategic options.

We leveraged its knowledge and network to ensure Redder  was engaging with the most relevant potential strategic partners. Following well targeted introductions, Redder received significant interest from a number of strategic partners looking to build or enhance their service capabilities in Vietnam. Following many review meetings, discussions and competitive offers, the founders decided to proceed with the Dentsu Aegis Group, due to the potential of a partnership with Dentsu in Vietnam and its strength and depth of client relationships. Redder will continue to operate as an independent brand within DAN with its senior management team continuing to lead the business.
